Summer....and its conclusion
Well, guys...I have to say that this is my last post of the summer. I go back to school a week from tomorrow, and I am sad. No more open gym with my volleyball buddies....but I get to play with you guys during the season.....no more volunteering at the library....no more daily naps. I get to go to GameWorks today and unleash my inner kid (which is something that every teenager totally loves to do...jk). I have nothing more to say so I am going to stop typing right....wait for it....right NOW.

One Door Closes....Another one Opens
Well guys, this is my last day in the Chi-town/ Indiana area. I went to Gino's East and ate deep dish pizza, went to navy pier, and then the PREFACE camp. There on the last day I hung out with my friends and sang karaoke. I didn't go to bed at 5:30 am. And yesterday we went to the Universoul Circus, which is owned by African Americans. Now I am hanging out at Breezy's aunts house. And I leave tonight....but a couple of days later...I am going on another vacation. Well I am going to continue my adventure.....later.

Party Rock....WOBBLE...SHOTS
Before curfew 2 nights ago, the girls on my side of the hall listened to the song Party Rock Anthem on REALLY loud. Then Alyssa, Brianna's roommate all of a sudden asks Brianna if she has the wobble. We look it up on youtube becuase no one has it on their iPods, and before you know it four people are doing the wobble dance in this tiny narrow hallway, it was awesome and fun. Also at mini golf the song shots came on and we were singing obnoxiously, it was so much fun. I think that I have never had as muich fun singing to songs as I did singing those songs with my friends from PREFACE.
Shawty got gifts.....
So for the past 2 days we have been listening to a song called Gifts by Ray J. He uses all these words that kind of rhyme, but don't. He rhymes, gifts, lips, chips, dip...weird right. We were on the bus yesterday, coming back from mini golf and we were watching the video, Ray J and his back up dancers do this weird dance. It goes like this... step to the left...then right....and to the left...and to the right...then you go down lower and do the left right stepping motion again...and then you go back up. It is fun because Brianna and I do it in sync, it is really funny.

Hey Guys...I'm Back!
It was day 3 of PREFACE, and it was LONGGGGG! First we worked on the DDR project. That was a lot of fun, we were decorating our board and we tried to make it look tacky...(I mean it still has some pictures of the moving box, we taped strips of aluminum foil...it is just a mess...), haha. We also had to take the PSAT test for 2and a half hours. One guy named Chu...he has the role of a counselor, but claims that he isn't(even claims he is a professor...but he was just joking), tried to keep us quiet but failed, so he started doing this thing where for every time we talked we had to stay for an extra minute. We had a total of 53-57 minutes, but when we were quiet he would take off 5 minutes....5 minutes of quiet meant that he took off 5 minutes that we had to stay. He said that if we talk or make any unnecessary noises we had to raise our hands...except for laugh because he is a happy person, so the whole class just started laughing...guess he rant backfired on him. Then we went to the picnic and ate KFC out of these boxes that had the grease leaking out of it, and soda. Brianna got a gross cup, and was freaking out...and we were talking about how KFC makes stuff....it was not that interesting. Then after we ate, we played football 3 on 3. on my team were Kerry and JaMon, and on the other team were Brianna, ShaRon, and Maya. JaMon showed her football skills by coming up with a play to get a touchdown, but yours truly screwed it up. We also took a bunch of pictures and stuff and it was awesome, I felt like I wasn't awkward, I have to say that was a pretty good accomplishment. We went to a driving range, and ny maybe came true, once I got the hang of it, I wasn't that bad....I didn't damage the grass too badly. Then we went to Monster Golf..(aka...putt putt). Kerry, Jae, and I played some holes, but then Kerry and I couldn't find anyone so we just skipped some holes and went off. Jae and I played a shooting game. Then I watched Kerry and another guy play the same game, Kerry is good at video games even though he says he dpesn't have time for them. After we got back to Cary..(our dorm), our curfew got extended since we got back so late. It was pretty cool....I was glad because I didn't go to bed until 2 in the morning. Anyway, now you get the title of this blog post and now you know about my day...

Preface Camp: How It Began....
Hey Guys!
Well, I started going to camp at Purdue University doing the Minority Engineering Program with my friend Brianna. I wasn't sure at first if I would make any friends, or that the engineering would be too hard...since I haven't done engineering before, but that is totally not the case. We also did an ice breaker and I fond out that there is 3 times as many guys at this camp as there are girls. On Sunday I got to my room and met my roomate ShaRon. She is amazing and really nice, she is also really funny. She is a twin and her sister lives next door. We also went bowling and this guy named Alex got a spare by pushing the bowling ball with his feet, and Brianna got 2 strikes from rolling the ball underneath her legs. I also met some other girls, and we have been hanging out, we eat every meal together, it is pretty cool.. On Monday, we did a campus tour and I started this blog. We are doing a Dance Dance Revolution project, in which we have to create a Dance Dance Revolution mat and game(I think..). In my group is my roommate ShaRon,her twin JaMon, and Brianna.We had a life talk and everyone was laughing about how much stuff costs. I also met this guy named Kerry and he is pretty cool. We talked about a lot of stuff, home life and school and stuff. I also found out that he likes Oreos so now he owes me(let's see if the guy can use his imaginiation....). He eats with us now(he is a creeper...just kidding). Today we did PSAT prep and talked about transitioning to college, now I am blogging. WE are going to play golf and I am going to suck...(maybe, who knows I might not even be that bad).
